Who Can Join?

We’re looking for motivated individuals who want to serve their community.

Basic Requirements:

  • 18 years or older (Junior programs may be available)

  • Live in Paramus, NJ

  • Willing to train and respond to calls

  • Strong work ethic and team mindset

    No prior experience is required!!

What’s the Commitment?

We understand you have work, school, and family. All our members are volunteers too.

Typical expectations include:

• Weekly drills (Monday evenings)

• Responding to emergencies when available

• Ongoing training opportunities

You give what you can—we train you to give your best.

How to Join

1. Visit a Firehouse

Stop by any fire company on Monday evenings and meet our members.

2. Submit an Application

Complete a membership application with your local company.

3. Interview & Review

We’ll walk you through the process and answer your questions.

4. Start Training

Begin your Fire Academy and hands-on training as a probationary member.
