Founded in 1911 and becoming part of the Borough of Paramus in 1922, Paramus Fire Company 4 has proudly served the Farview Avenue area for over 100 years. Located at 54 South Farview Avenue, the company continues its tradition of volunteer service, operating modern fire apparatus and providing emergency response and fire protection to the community.
Engine 4
Engine 4 is a 2013 KME versatile fire engine that plays a critical role in protecting the Borough of Paramus. Equipped with a 1,750 GPM pump, a 500-gallon water tank, and a 30-gallon foam tank, the apparatus is designed to support a wide range of firefighting operations. Its combination of pumping power and maneuverability allows firefighters to quickly and effectively respond to emergencies throughout the community.
Truck 4
Truck 4 is a 2015 KME aerial ladder truck equipped with a 102-foot rear-mounted ladder, providing firefighters with exceptional reach for elevated fire attacks, rescues, and ventilation operations. Engine 44 is a 2014 Ford F-450 quick-response apparatus featuring a custom P&L body and refurbished 1988 Saulsbury equipment package. Equipped with a 400 GPM pump, a 200-gallon water tank, and four-wheel-drive capability, Engine 44 is designed to access areas where larger apparatus may be limited. Its versatility and maneuverability make it a valuable asset for brush fires, utility emergencies, and rapid response incidents throughout the Borough of Paramus.
