The Paramus Fire Department is a 100% volunteer organization that protects 26,000 residents and and a massive deytime retail population across 10.5 Square Miles. Operating out of five companies, the 130+ dedicated members respond to an average of 1,800 calls annually

Our operations are sustained by rigorous, ongoing training and community commitment. Our firefighters gather every Monday evening to inspect equipment, run drills, and train in specialized scenarios to ensure they are ready to act in a moment's notice.
